Product Installation Tips

It is recommended to install this product following the steps below.

Notes:

After receiving the product, please install the batteries and connect the wires first before formal installation. Conduct a quick test on basic functions, including checking if the latch bolt retracts and extends properly, whether fingerprints can be enrolled normally, and if Bluetooth connects smoothly.

Complete all settings prior to installation. This helps avoid wasting time on reinstallation if any faults are found after the product is mounted.

Install the clips first, then the lock body, and adjust the position of the lock body according to the clips. The clips are designed for concealed installation. If reinstallation is needed due to errors, the overall appearance of the product will not be affected. However, repositioning the lock body may compromise its aesthetics.

# Product Operation Instructions

To help users operate this product easily and accommodate different usage habits, the product supports local management. Relevant instructions are presented below.

## Local Operation Guidelines

The product is set to Demo Mode by default upon initialization. **In Demo Mode, any fingerprint can unlock the device.**

### 1. Light Indicator Instructions

- Fingerprint verification succeeded: The blue indicator flashes once (the device is in factory default state).

- Fingerprint verification succeeded: The green indicator flashes once.

- Fingerprint verification failed: The red indicator flashes three times.

- Low battery alert: After successful fingerprint verification, the green indicator flashes once followed by three red flashes, indicating insufficient power.

### 2. Fingerprint Registration

The registration process will time out and exit if no operation is performed. You need to restart the process after exit. A single red flash signals a registration timeout.

(Note: Two fingerprints will be registered by default for the first-time registration.)

2.1 Keep your finger pressed until the cyan light stays on, then lift your finger.

2.2 Start fingerprint registration.

2.3 Lift and press your finger ten times continuously. Stop when the green light turns on, which means the first fingerprint is registered successfully.

2.4 After the prompt for successful registration of the first fingerprint, the blue light will turn on. Use a different finger and repeat the lifting and pressing ten times continuously. Stop when the green light lights up, indicating the second fingerprint is registered successfully.

(Note: Lift your finger after each press during registration; do not keep your finger pressed down. Move your finger up, down, left and right while registering. Avoid pressing the same part of your finger for all ten attempts.)

3. Add a new fingerprint:

3.1 Use a registered finger for verification. After successful verification, keep pressing until the blue and green lights turn on, then lift your finger.

3.2 Start enrolling a new fingerprint. Lift and press your finger ten times continuously. Stop when the green light lights up, which means the new fingerprint has been registered successfully.

4. Use of Morse Code: (All fingerprints cannot be restored after factory reset.)

4.1 Restore factory settings via Morse Code

a. After fingerprint verification succeeds, press and hold until the blue and green lights turn on (do not lift your finger while holding);

b. Keep holding when the white light turns on;

c. Release your finger once the red light lights up. A single flash of the green light indicates all fingerprints have been cleared and the device has been restored to factory settings.

### 4.2 Setting the Emergency Password

a. After unlocking with a fingerprint, keep pressing until the blue light turns on (do not lift your finger while pressing), and release your finger once the white light lights up.

b. A green light will come on after you release your finger. Each fingerprint press counts as one digit (for example, pressing 5 times represents the number 5). After pressing the set number of times, wait for the blue light to turn on.

c. When the blue light is on, press the set number of times (for example, pressing 6 times represents the number 6). Wait until all lights go out after finishing the presses.

d. The digits entered when the green light and blue light are on form a two-digit number (e.g., 56). Please remember this password.

### 4.3 Using the Emergency Password

a. If fingerprint unlocking fails, press and hold any fingerprint until the white light flashes, then release your finger.

b. The green light will turn on after release. Press the previously set number of times (e.g., 5 times), then wait for the blue light to light up.

c. When the blue light is on, press the set number of times (e.g., 6 times), then wait for the lights to go out.

d. Before the lights turn off, a flashing red light indicates a wrong password, while a flashing green light means the password is correct.

e. The lock will open automatically if the password is verified successfully and restore to factory settings. You will need to register fingerprints again.

### 4.4 Notes on Using the Morse Code Unlock

a. If no emergency unlock password has been set, the default password is 33. Once a custom password is set, the default password will no longer work.

b. After restoring to factory settings, the custom password will be invalidated and the default password will be restored.

c. The system will exit automatically if there is an operation timeout during the setup or use of the emergency unlock password, and you need to start over. One flash of the red light indicates a timeout during password setup, and two flashes of the red light indicate a timeout during password use.
